Digital storytelling has become an increasingly popular way to engage students in Web-publishing projects involving multimedia production.

With a digital video camera and iMovie, Movie Maker 2, or Premiere video-editing software, students can work in teams to create short subject videos that can be shown on the Web.

The ATGI gallery features eight photos from a semester-long project at Dr. NH Jones Elementary School in Ocala, Florida, in which Karin Gunn, a graduate student in art education at The University of Florida, worked with fifth-grade students and art teacher Polly Werner to create digital stories based on works of art. Visit Karin's WebQuest What's the story behind the art? to see four videos created by the students at NH Jones Elementary.

An Invitation:
Interested in sharing creative projects that your students have done using digital technologies or the Internet in some way? If so, contact me about exhibiting your students' work here in the ATGI gallery.
