Christo and Jeanne-Claude

Bulgarian artist, Christo, works with his Moroccan-born wife, Jeanne-Claude,
to create enormous, temporary installations. Their work relies heavily
on the expertise of their carefully selected project crews and the labor
of others.
Patrick Dougherty

Patrick Dougherty resides in North Carolina. He creates large-scale,
on-site, temporary sculptures typically woven with willow and maples
saplings. The process is labor-intensive and requires many dedicated
volunteers. Over the past 10 years Dougherty has created over 100 artworks
throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Suzanne Lacy

Suzanne Lacy is an artist, writer and video producer. Her work includes
large-scale performances involving multiple participants. Her project
“Full Circle,” was one of the community-based art projects
included in Chicago’s Culture in Action in 1994. For this project
she held a dinner for women allowing them the opportunity “to
participate in a work of art by actively envisioning the future within
the context of a place rich with historical significance for women and
for a changing society.”
